Treasure Portals

My submission for the GameDev.tv Game Jam 2023. Theme "Life in 2 Dimensions"

About the game:

Portals are dropping objects. You can move the robot to collect them, then drop them off at the drop-off point. When there are enough, the truck will take the objects away to sell, earning you coins. Use the coins for upgrades, and earn enough coins to complete the level. Sometimes your robot will be caught in a portal and shifted to a different dimension...

Controls

• WASD or arrow keys to move the robot.
• Mouse click to purchase upgrades or pause game with the options menu.
• Collect batteries (green cylinders) to get more game time.
• When you are in the 2D view dimension, wait a bit to be returned to 3D.

Other Info:

• There may be some bugs... ok there are some for sure, but the game should still work well enough to complete the three levels.
